Maximizing Your Volunteer Impact

When times are tough volunteers play an especially vital role in the continuity of programs and services. Successful volunteerism doesn't just happen, however. It takes thoughtful planning and consideration for both the nonprofits needing volunteers and those looking to serve. Learn what you can do to effectively assess an organization’s needs and successfully engage as a volunteer.

Join the Maximizing Your Volunteer Impact webinar at 11:30 a.m. (PST) Friday, June 26. Jan Burrell, 501 Commons’ consulting services manager, will show you how to seek the needs of nonprofits and be an effective volunteer.

This is the second in the Philanthropy Learn & Connect webinar series for individuals who are interested in nonprofit pursuits. The series is presented by 501 Commons and the Microsoft Alumni Network.
